ALL WORKSHOPS last for three hours and cost £60 per session unless otherwise stated. Please come with secateurs and suitable outer clothing and footwear.
HOME MADE LUNCH Those attending whole day courses or two courses on the same day will sit down to lunch made with home grown produce.

  • Hazel Day - Cut Your Own   • Course W1-12 
  We show you how to use hazel to stake plants and to make simple garden structures, then you are free to gather and take home as much material as you like from our two acre cobnut orchard. Bring a pruning saw and secateurs. Please note on the hazel workshops only we take more than ten people.

  • Practical Propagation - Success with Seeds and Cuttings   • Course W4-12
  Propagation can’t be learned from books. Learn how to germinate difficult seeds and to take better cuttings. Watch, then practise the skills first hand. Take home your pots of seeds and cuttings.
